Programmer

Blockade Studios is a new animation facility producing original content for games, film, TV and direct to DVD. The “Unreal” artist will work with the Blockade production team to create original animated content. The pipeline is based in using the Unreal Engine. The position will start February 1st. This position will be full time and must work from our studio in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Responsibilities: 

• Expertise integrating assets into and out of Unreal 3
• Expertise working with textures and models for quality and efficiency Expertise lighting and designing special effects in Unreal 3
• Expertise implementing animation and motion capture into Unreal 3
• Experience working with motion capture, rigs and character animation

Required Skills: 

• 3 years + experience with Unreal and experience with
• Expertise with the Maya and/or Max to Unreal 3 pipeline, including exporting textures, materials, etc.
• Innovative problem solver and workflow designer.
